Unlocked Apartment Shells | The Sims 4

The For Rent Expansion Pack introduces multi-family lots, enabling you to design duplexes and apartments accommodating up to six families (more families can be added using cheats). Inspired by City Living, this mod primarily unveils the shells, which function as elevator portals, and primarily serve aesthetic purposes unless you intend to create dormitories or similar structures. However, with the advent of the For Rent pack, these shells can effortlessly be converted into functional apartments thanks to the streamlined conversion process.

Features:

• Modded Shells: The mod provides decorative "shells" that act as portals for apartments, inspired by City Living apartments.
• For Rent Integration: The For Rent pack lets you convert these shells into functional apartments with a streamlined process.
• Two Approaches:
• Easy Placement: Place a shell and elevator for an automatic pre-made apartment experience (similar to City Living).
• Custom Building: Build your own apartment layout using shells and elevators.

Building Your Own Apartment:

1. Construct your first floor.
2. Raise the foundation height to match the chosen shell (Chic Street shell needs maximum height).
3. Place the shell and adjust the height until it aligns with the first floor.
4. Build a square room filling the entire shell space.
5. Place an elevator inside. (Shell acts as entrance, elevator as exit).
6. Use cheats to reveal hidden foundations (conceals foundation clipping).
7. Design your dream apartment layout! (Can be used for commercial lots too).

Pre-Built Apartments (Optional):

• Download the "ApartmentPrebuiltLots" file (separate download).
• It provides ready-to-use apartment configurations for each shell type (Tray files).
• Includes apartments from various locations: Spice Market, Fashion District, Universities, Evergreen Harbor.
